Hello folks - looks like I might finally have found what i've been searching for...... some other people to talk to who are in the same position as me. Bit of background - diagnosed 4 1/2 years ago with type 2. I'm now 39. Started off diet control for just over 2 years, then moved to metfor min, 500mg 3 times daily. 8 months ago I was changed to the slow release type of metformin and dosage upped to 4 500mg tablets daily. Just been to see my consultant last week and they want me to now try liraglutide (victoza). I'll be starting it next Wednesday and I would really like to hear from anyone else who is on it and any of your experiences. My last HBA1C was 9.5 and my BG is usually between 11 and 13
