Hi!

My name is Rebecca, and I'm sixteen years old. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes when I was eight, and well... I've had it ever since. :shifty:
I had insulin pens at first for about 6 months, then I got a pump and that's the best treatment for my diabetes according to myself. Though, I've never had to struggle that much with my BGs, I just feel more comfortable with the pump instead of the pens.

I've wanted to register on a diabetes forum for a while, and now I have. I look forward to talk to other people in the same situation as me! :)
I don't know what more to say really... Ask me!

Oh, and I'm from Sweden, which means that I don't speak English as my first language. Bear with me if there's some grammar mistakes or anything like that, and please tell me if you'd like! I'm not offended by any corrections, that's just good (it helps me to improve my English!) 8)

Hi Rebecca and welcome to the forum :) Rest assured, your English is excellent! Ask as many questions as you like as there is usually someone who can help. There is an Insulin Pump Forum on here which you might like to look at as you will find some useful information there:

Välkommen, trevligt att se dig :) :)
Rebecca, your English is VERY good, my husband is Swedish. I have type 2 diabetes, so I am not a lot of use to you. I only wanted to say a quick hello.
All the best to you x

Thank you! :D I hope that I can find some good tips and tricks here, and hopefully be helpful to someone else too!

WhitbyJet : Hej! Tack så mycket, trevligt att se dig med! Oh, he is? Nice! But you live somewhere else?
