My HbA1c readings this year have been between 37 and 42, with the latest on14/10/2014 being 38. (My diabetes nurse reckons they are too low). BMI is 23.3.
Yes, she mentions hypos frequently.Not much wrong with those HbA1c levels Frankie, I'm guessing the DN doesn't like them for risk of hypos, but you can't make that conclusion based on long term averages.
Yes, HCPs seem a bit obsessed with hypos I guess as some users just don't control them selves properly. I went thru a similar process to you i.e. max Met, then Glic then Sitagliptin and now insulin. My DN was always asking about hypos even though my HBa1C was over 6% and I never had low meter sugar.Thanks Squire Fulwood
