Just joined the forum, just to gave you some info i have had t2 diabetes for 16yrs on medication at the moment i am quite healthy but i need some advice due to me also been taking statins for 16yrs. i have been informed that q10 helps to put in what the statins take out, i have been on them for a month but now my suger have started to go high i don't know if its the q10 or not as other friends been taking them as they feel great and not so tired. Just want to check if anyone have tried the q10 and if you have can you tell me how you feel with your diabetes.

Molly - Warm welcome to the forum
Q10 Energy Enzyme ? - I have to use and take this for my Mitochondrial condition .

My own energy cells were either damaged or I was born with too little of them .
Neurology consultant informed me this year after many tests .

Hence needing these meds as an energy replacement therapy .

Improved my energy a little gradually - if honest .
I am certainly better than I was pre-these .
Havent noticed a clear link to BG levels increase with the Q10 tablets .

Am also hypothyroid plus coeliac - both these are autoimmune conditions .

Hello and welcome to the forum

RRB :)

My BS levels rose when I started taking statins and since coming off them my levels have come down but I was only on them for led than a year because I suffered other side effects as well.

P.S Molly - I don't use or take statins as I can not tolerate these .

One way of finding is to stop taking the Q10 and see how your bg levels behave.
