Thank you for your wonderful reply and comments. Its so good to see that all of those of us who unfortunately have to share this condition have such a positive outlook. My main criteria is never to worryWhat a fantastic story. I expect as a veteran of diabetes you will have lots of experiences and advice to share. The fact you have had diabetes for 46 years and still remain positive is inspirational, particularly for young members on the forum who may perceive their life is over or will invariably end prematurely. Welcome to the forum and I look forward to reading your comments as I'm sure will many others.
Your great experiences and stories would definitely benefit others - especially young Type1s. Why not create a blog on this forum and allow others to read them ? I really enjoy the blogs that currently exist.
Thank you for your wonderful reply and comments. Its so good to see that all of those of us who unfortunately have to share this condition have such a positive outlook. My main criteria is never to worry, but however, most of us do so because we are all unsure as to the outcome.I have found over the years that despite certain negative issues that affected me as a child have made me realise that there is more to life than we all appreciate. I can tell you stories that some may seem unbelievable ,but those factors have been an inspiration to me.Please contact me should you like to know more, but never give up. .
