Have now settled down now I know and understand carbs for vegetables. I now have worked out I need one meal a day of meat or fish and vegetables I try not to eat too much fat only stick to Raspseed oil for cooking but never fry anything except with a spray of oil, for bacon and eggs.

I feel better in myself and have only a chocolate flavoured nut bar for breakfast and tea. This keeps my BG readings low I am not losing much weight but it will take time, I cannot exercise so weight.loss had to be by diet alone but I do go to strong and steady exercises once a week which are small and manageable. I have eight stone yo lose do it is not going to happen over night zi know that.
Really am pleased to be able to come on here get do much support here.
One thing is the nut bard I get are £2.45 from Aldies four in a pack I get two each week, could anyone tell me where else I could buy them please or something similar they are 213 cals and 6.2 carbs.

You are right to be patient regarding weight loss. I am a wheelchair user and cannot excercise but the weight fell off of me once I got my carb counting skills in the right place for me. I have never counted a calorie in my life and do not intend ever doing so.

I tried resistive bands but it proved too painful (I suffer chronic pain from a different condition). However, resistive/resistant bands work well as a form of excercise for most people and cost just a couple of quid from Amazon. As to the energy bars, I looked at the price and thought better of it.
I use lard for frying eggs and butter for scrambled or omelettes and I find that these leave me satisfied for much longer than an energy/low carb bar would.

Keep up the good work, you're getting there.
