Hello, I'm Jude and have an 8 year old son, Type 1 diagnosed from 13 months old.

He's recently changed from pen to an animas pump. And it has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride with with it so far i all of the 12 days we've had it - well for me more than him - he is a chilled out dude! 8)

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully pick up some tips from those of you who are pump experts! :wink:

My son is not pumping but I've been told the first month or so is a bit rough when you change over. I'm sure you'll be looking forward to getting some decent sleep some time in the near future.

We had the best day so far yesterday and I actually had more than 4 hours sleep! So hopefully getting into the swing of it.

Yes I've heard the first six weeks are the worst! Just another four weeks..... :roll:
