I'm Lawzie and got my diagnosis as Diabetic last week so I'm pretty new to it all and still trying to get my head round it. :roll:
I'm Type 2 being controlled by diet alone at the moment. I'm lucky in that I know a few people who are diabetic so I've got lots of support.
I've got past the shock and the anger of "why me" and now just getting on with it.
I've found some nice diabetic treats in that well known high street chemist so I haven't had to gve up chocolate completely. I just wish they weren't so expensive. :?
