Hi got a question, female problems.

Hi everybody,
My doctor said that at my age of 34 i am starting to go through the menopause, had blood tests etc.
how do i put this! I seem to be having periods like for 3 days then finish then again for 3 days! It has been like this for the last 2 weeks! I have been ignoring it!
But i had plans with my finacee to get up to things, i will say no more than that!
It is getting painful as i keep getting severe belly pains with it! I just don't understand why!
I am so sorry to all the men here if you ahve read this!

Oh dear Sandy.
Early menopause isn't all that rare. However if you plan to have children, now would be a good time to talk to your doctor about it.
I think most under 40 menopauses are treated with HRT eventually.

I just feel so worn out at the minute! This sort of thing wears me out! Thing is i have tried for kids never happened other than once! Long story and painful at that!
I just don't know where to turn, as Gp said there is not alot of evidence of early menopause!
to help with the severe pain i have suffered when i was younger i have been on the pill a safe one because of my health problems! But stupid thing is it does not seem to be helping now!
Oh at least the sun is out! I will look like a lobster if i dare go out in the sun!

you are having it rough, i would go back to see dr and tell them and ask if theres anything else that can be done :)

The main thing is I have managed to eat, feel sick at min! But better than what i did feel!

Already under gyno, she is keeping a eye on it! Got refered a couple of months ago! she seems nice and has been helpful! Butr it is scary at my age!

changed my mind walked out into the garden and got thumping migraine, i am burning up as well!
Oh well i can look at the sun from inside the window! :D

you really are going through the mill at the moment, I am quite sure that your "specialist" will come up with a solution . i hope that you will be feeling much better soon.

I had a girlfriend who started going through something like this in her twenties.

They blamed "stress" but eventually she evened out after they trialled a few different pills and found one that stabilised her, IMO something had upset her hormones.

In your case I still wonder about something like PCOS or some other endocrine problem which no-one has bothered to discover yet, agree that yet another second opinion would be a good plan.

I have a second appointment on wensday with the gyno! I got tested for pcos a year or so ago!
I have had blood tests, Last night was in constant heat up! Fiancee had to take me out down the beach to cool me off! 6 cold showers yesterday!
Phoned up the gyno unit they have made me appointment for wensday to see what they can sort out!
Had two periods in less than two weeks!

Sandy, are you still on the pill and taking it every day? If you are then you really need to go and be seen, because you shouldn't have ANY breakthrough bleeding at all between cycles.

I am still on the pill, I am having worse than breakthrough bleeding! Today lost what looked like 2 large blood clots! Sorry to be so graphic! It was real bad!
I have appointment tomorrow to see my usual Gp!

Hi Sandy, you are suffering poor u, lots of support out there with sound advise. Don't let 'it' dictate how you live your life. Hope you are soon feeling in control of things again.

She has ordered blood tests she thinks it could be early menopause!
I also have a bad bladder infection! At the minute all feels well! Just feel sick from the pills anti botic's allways make me feel sick!
