Hi new to forum . Have had type2 for 9 years (aged 47 now) and have been quite happily bumbling along until last year when I became insulin dependent - my metformin dose had increased beyond the point of no return.
I've generally been very happy with the advice I've received but have recently become a little disconcerted with the interpretation of my bloods using the Accucheck "graphing" system. No need to go into specifics but basically I can't seem to agree with the conclusions reached. I've now ordered my own kit so I can keep on top of things but was wondering whether any other forumites had similar problems?
Thanks

Hi and welcome
Don't know anything about your problem, but someone will.
Was curious that you went direct from Metformin to insulin.this is quite unusual, there are usually sulphonylureas or glitazones in between.
The important thing is: does it suit you and what kind of numbers are you getting?

Hi - no sorry just shorthanding - path included pioglitazone and something else (can't remember). My HBA1C is 6.9 and has been for last three "bloods"
