Hi All,
I have been an insulin diabetic for 35 years now. I am also visually impaired suffering with severe diabetic
retinopathy. For the past 18 months or so I have also lost my sensitivity to any hypo's. My levels can go down to as low as 1.9 and still in total control and able to do everything to sort myself out. This has been a bad time as I now have to test at least ten times a day just to see that it is not going too low.
I would be very grateful to hear from anyone out there who has been through this and may be able to help in any way. I have tried keeping my levels high for a four month period as suggested by the medical team at the hospital but still no change.
