Hi to all'

My blood sugar reading was 6.8 Last night which I think is good but my asthma has set off again in the night and and the Monalukast raises my blood sugar so I am not happy taking it.
Also steroids do too.
Will I be able to request a referral to asthma clinic.

You should be under care for your asthma anyway, our GP has an asthma nurse that you see once a year unless you need more regular appointments, thankfully asthma is something I grew out of, what would you be hoping for? As many have issues with their inhalers raising BG levels and there isn't much more available for your classic asthmatic xx

Hi to you'

My asthma is worse at night I don't know why that is but if it gets worse I will contact the gp think it must be cold weather setting it off.
I know smoking sets it off both my husband and son smoke so that doesn't help at all they won't listen.

Hmmm - feel free to poke your husband awake and tell them, whenever you are having trouble breathing - and please don't delay in contacting the GP. I have had to wait almost half a year for my routine eye check, so the sooner you alert them the better
