Hi everyone

I registered here ages ago but not sure i ever posted so i am starting out fresh to the forum

i was diagnosed a year ago, a few weeks short of my 40th birthday, with type 2 (undiagnosed for at least two years)which came as a major shock...initially my doctor thought my diagnosis of M.E that i had a few years ago was really undiagnosed diabetes...on triple checking everything it seems i am destined to suffer with both, and one tends to hit off the other.
my great gran had D and my uncle was diagnosed a few years ago and i admit i was (note i say 'was') overweight...but i am struggling, especially with my blood levels as it seems to jump from 5/6 to as high as 13 (which it was this morning) and i know i have to book my 'm.o.t' now but am too scared at what the nurse will say

anyway enough rambling from me...so hello all

Please don't worry about what the nurse will say. They are there to help not pass judgement. It is more important that you get on the right track.
