Hi folks, having spent the last few years frequenting forums in other subjects, I finally came upon this one. Why is it that the longest standing condition/interest I have was the last one to lead me to a forum? I have had type 1 diabetes for thirty-five years and am finally in better control of it than ever: thanks to a DAFNE course. In five days I learnt more than the last thirty years of trial and error had taught me.

Look forward to 'meeting' some of you.

Hi Margi, welcome to the forum. I'm glad you learned so much on DAFNE. You will probably learn quite a lot more on here too. Ask any questions if you need to and someone is sure to come up with with an answer.

Like you I am a type 1 and have been for the last 30 years, so please feel free to share your experiences and contribute whenever possible.

Good to hear DAFNE turned your life around, it is a very worthwhile course and should be a must for all those new and old to diabetes.
