Hi!

Hello and welcome @MarcoWonder

As @Antje77 said above- my type 2 is in remission by going very low carb. It's my personal view that very rarely is it 'cured' so to keep it on remission I think you need to keep low carb. What level of carb intake is needed depends from person to person.

The first thing to do though is to get a meter. That will tell you if what ever action you are taking is keeping your levels under control.

Good luck and welcome.

Hello and welcome. I make my own soup. Then I know exactly what is in it. Really easy (it makes itself really) low cost and different every day.

I'm American. Have any of you tried the NHS soup as an attempt to reverse T2D?
Hi, and welcome. I haven't tried this. I am a 20g/day low-carber, and that's what I would recommend for better bg control and weight loss.

However, the "NHS shake and soup" is a standard low-calorie approach with nothing particularly new about it other than it being provided by the NHS in a structured programme rather than via Slimfast or similar.
