Hi everyone, I have just joint the forum today, having read a lot of posts on comments and Facebook I have decided that I should join.

I have had type 1 for over 30 years and am now being assessed to,see if I am suitable for a islet transplant, so spending a lot of time visiting hospitals for tests and meetings with doctors.

Looking forward to see what is going on in the forum and jointing in the discussion. 8)

Have a good look round and then ask any questions you need to. There is always someone here to help. Let us know how you are getting on and if you are approved for an islet transplant. Other members may be interested to hear about it.
