I m a diabetic, recently I have been suffering from cold and cough and it has been about 2 months and not getting better. I am taking antibiotic doxycyaline and yet there is no improvement. My sugar level also shows little high about 136 mg before meal and around 184 after meal.

A cold is caused by a virus. 
Doxycyaline is for bacterial infections. You need to keep going back to your doctor until they figure out what's wrong. Are you on any meds? Ace inhibitors can cause a persistent cough. You could try switching to a different ace inhibitor and the cough may go away.
