Type 1 here on Novarapid and Lantus (in total 4 injections per day) - diagnosed 14 years ago at the age of 14. I used to be very well controlled, but lately that has slipped and I'm trying to correct that. My first step was to order a Dario (http://mydario.com/smart-meter/), but I'm really hoping to get my hands on the FreeStyle Libre (www.freestylelibre.co.uk/products.html) as soon as it's back in stock. I'm also going to be speaking to my GP in the near future about the possibility of moving to a pump, and I'll maybe go for the OmniPod (www.mylife-diabetescare.co.uk/mylife-omnipod-discover.html) because it sounds like the best fit for an active lifestyle (I don't like the idea of catching the tubes on something when I'm in the gym or playing with my son etc., and don't want to have to mess about detach a pump before doing activities and then re-attach it again after).
