Hi and welcome. Ther is lots of advice on these forums about diet. Although it is very important to keep the carbs down, you can eat proteins, fats and, of course, veg quite freely which gives you quite a wide choice of food. The right diet will help with both blood sugar and weight. Come back with specific question if you need more guidance.
