High backgound amount compared to insulin with food

I am taking a high amount of levimer compared to humalog
But if i dont i cant get bloods down
ratio of humalog
breakfast 4 to 1
lunch 2.5 to 1
dinner 2.5 to 1
does anyone else have this problem

Welcome to the forum @uddingston

As long as you know your basal and carb ratio is right, and you're not using your basal to bring down high bloods caused by too little bolus with carbs, I can't see it's a problem, as the amount of humalog you need depends how many carbs you eat.

Why do you feel this is a problem?

How are your blood sugars usually?
