High blood sugar levels since taking Creon tablets

I have been Type 1 for 66 years with excellent control (consultant's assessment) using Libre 2+ and diagnosed with Type 3c in April of this year. I take 3 Creon tablets with each meal to provide the enzymes that are not produced ibn sufficient quantities by my pancreas.
Since then I have had difficulties managing my diabetes. My time-in-target has reduced from 82/85% to 65%. Changing insulin to carb ratios and long-lasting insulin doses (not both at the same time!) has not improved my blood sugar results.
My diabetic consultant has said that the 'problem' arises due to differing rates of absorption of insulin, carbs and Creon, suggesting that I try taking my quick-acting insulin and Creon both 5 minutes before my meals. However, there has been no change.
Does anyone have any similar experience with Creon tablets?

have they considered switching insulin differing profile? i recall my mum (type2) after a few bouts of pancreatitis switched insulins which seemed to work a little better for her. she took creon at the start of each meal with at a tall glass of water another glass throughout the meal injection novarapid 10 mins prior to her meals. she was on humalin something before switched over to novarapid. She did not use CGM wish she had although multiple injections per day never was given option. 7 fingerpricks a day. each meal and around 2 hours after alongside just before bed alongside if didn't feel right to also check especially if wobbly/shaking

Many thanks for your reply. My quick-acting insulin was changed from Humulin to Nova Rapid early September this year but that has made no difference.
