I don't know whether anyone can help me, I've been diabetic type 1 for over a year now and have been managing my diabetes very well. Recently my blood sugar level has been higher throughout the day, does anyone have advice as to what I could do to get it back to how it was (I haven't changed my diet or anything so I'm not sure how my levels are higher). Thank you

Maybe your honeymoon period has ended. Peoples insulin requirements do change as well

Yes quite possibly! I'm not sure whether I need to take more or less insulin to be honest! I take 4 units of novo rapid in the morning, 4 before lunch, 3 before tea and 6 units of Lantus at night. However, recently I've been between 10-13 in the morning so do I need to more Lantus at night or less? Thank you

Intuitively it would suggest an increase BUT in response to sudden changes in requirements I would also suggest strongly that you speak to your GP or specialist for specific professional advice.

Yes that is what I thought to increase the amount of insulin I take and I shall contact my diabetic nurse to,or row for further advise. Thanks again
