High blood sugar

Non-insulin injectable medication (incretin mimetics)
I was told I was diabetic October with keytones and and BS 34
over a month with the help of Metoformin and Amaryl 2mg I brought that down to around 5,5 to low 6s
so got took of the Amaryl and it stayed stable with my low carb diet but last few days it has been shooting up to low 14s and averages about 9 and yet im still doing the same carb diet any help would be great
 
Are you unwell or stressed? If you are coming down with something it can affect your bs

Could be that. I control mine by diet and have figures similar to your good ones. I had a cold, the same time my doctor changed my medication which disagreed with me. I was getting 12's and I hadn't eaten for 7 hours.

Just another thought, sometimes certain tablets stay in your system after you've stopped taking them. It could be that you were still getting the effects of the Amaryl and now it wore off. It might be worth ringing a pharmacist to see what they say.

That sounds like me ,ive been really cutting back foodwise just to try and jolt it downwards

That's what I do now if I'm unwell and get high readings. I eat about 50grams per day of carbs normally, but I cut it back further if I need to.
