can anyone help,,, been diabetic for 32 years but lately every so often my blood sugar goes really high and i cant bring it down, tried eating no carbs, extra injections of insulin but nothing works,, i do loads of excersise and on the odd occasion its normal and i have a light meal its up again

Maybe its worth keeping a record of what you are eating to see if there's a pattern that you can see when your BS goes high to what you have eaten. Mine spike high earlier in the year and for me one of the main culprits was white bread, and today they have spiked again and the only thing different I have eaten is dry roasted peanuts, yet the pack says the carbs are low. :?

Hi,
I'm presuming with a username of debbie222 you are female? Are you of an age that it could be the menopause? This can play havoc with levels as the hormones mess about.

Apologies if none of this applies.

Regards
Angie
