Tinned tomatoes are lower carb than puree, so that's good.i had tinned chopped tomatoes, had cheese and frankfurter sausage on it.
Caulifower pizza is usually made with a base of grated caulifower, cheese and egg. I assume this is what the OP means rather than a wheat flour based one.Have you considered that the problem might be with the Pizza base rather than with the toppings.
What was the Pizza base made with or from ?
Possibly it's mainly down to the carbohydrate loading in the Pizza base !!!
Did you use ready grated cheese from a bag? Some of these have potato flour added to keep the grated strands separate. the sachet should give clues. Otherwise, it the tomatoes or the plain old quantity consumed? Some of these things can be very moreish.Hi Everyone
I made cauliflower pizza last night and a bg of 6.2 before, later I found my bloods were creeping up and up and were still 11.4 this morning. Has anyone ever had this? think I will be giving it a miss from now on.
