High Bloods???

Purely out of interest, I just did a 2 hours post-dinner blood glucose test (I usually only test 4 times per day). Despite taking 3 units of NovRapid (the most I've been advised to take by my nurse) as well as having a pre-dinner reading of 4.9, I've gone up to 10.2... Is that normal?
I seem to regularly be having high pre-bed readings (often over 11/12) - could this be because my Lantus (taken at 10pm every day) is starting to wear off a few hours early thus causing my BG to rise in the evening?
Anyway, all that probably didn't make a lot of sense but any guidance you could give me would be MUCH appreciated...

Quite possibly the lantus is tailing off in the evening, as your newly diagnosed I would just record your bg levels and seek advice from your DSN on where to adjust your insulin doses.

didn't they give u a diary to fill in? if not request one and see if that helps keeping a written record helps alot i find.
but for now as you're newly diagnosed don't change doses yourself speak to your dsn and explain whats going on :D
