High fasting blood sugar

Hi everybody,
I woke up at 8.15am, fasting blood sugar was 11.0...
I was wondering if this was the case of the stress that i am going through,
My last meal was 6pm last night, It was a cheese salad, no salad cream or mayo!
had not eaten since then!
I am thinking that this could be because of the stress that i am going through my mum!
Could i be right there?

Hi Sandy.

I think this is all down to the terrific levels of Stress you are under at the moment.
Do try not to worry. You will have to wait for things to settle down, then the numbers will drop again.
Please do not worry yourself unduly over this.

with the amount of stress you have had recently it is only to be expected, try not to worry about it, im sure it will go down once you become more relaxed
 
Hi everybody,.
Got dentist today at 2pm to see if tooth can be pulled yet or not! Fingers crossed i know i will get pain when get tooth pulled, But that has to be better than the constant pain i am suffering!
Ah bless my fiancee took me out early this morning, Got me to pick the 3 pairs of earrings and lovely chain! This is for my birthday! He said I deserved a treat, i dont often wear alot of jewellery! But i got three pairs of different coloured studs and lovely necklace.
I can only wear silver as allergic to all other metals!
What a lovely present!

good luck at the dentist, at least once its out and the pain subsides you wont get toothache again let me know how u get on

He removed the wisdom tooth, He was great, He said that the abcess had not fully gone, but in his view, 8 months waiting for it to go and on anti botics is long enough!
He gave me the choice of removing, I asked him to remove the tooth! He said call it a early birthday present! Oh the smell when he pulled the tooth was awful!
now it is gone, it is painful as the socket has a very deep hole etc! And the abcess is still there! At least now i can enjoy my birthday a bit! I have pain there!
I can cope with that! I can cope with the throbbing ache i have at the minute until it goes!
I have also recived a appointment to go back and see the eye specialist on the 2nd june! I am to see the head guy himself!

thats great sandy i would say that you are glad to see the back of that tooth .its good to hear you a bit more cheerful hopefylly they can sort out your eyes as well
 
awww brilliant sandy,
itll be sore 4 a while for you but the worst bit is over,
im not too bad, had to go bk to hosp yesterday on my birthday too lol the pot had loosened so had a new one,so im in agony again and itll be mnths before im pain free,if ever but life goes on and we will be ok

I am so glad that the tooth has gone, i am alot more chearful today! Got some wonderful presents that i got to pick! My finacee took me into a jeweller and said anything you want you can have it!
I thought I dont want alot i alreadly have a wonderful finacee, so picked three pairs of earrings they are lovely!
He also bought me a loveheart with my name on it, And said he wanted me to pick a necklace for it!

Poor you having to go to hospital on your birthday, I remember that well from doing my ankle, The pot gets loose have to have new pot, then it hurts again when the pot goes on!
My socket hurts real bad! taken some painkillers!

Probably not only the stress but the infection. Hopefully without the tooth your face wil heal up (I hope you're still on the antibiotics) and painkillers/antiinflammatories will probably help some too.

Sometimes a late night snack may help the following morning numbers, you'll need to experiment with different proportions of carbs, fat and protein: a cracker and cheese, some nuts and red wine etc. BUT don;t get any bits in your tooth socket!
