Has anyone had high ferritin (stored iron as I understand it) with Type 2?
My most recent blood test has shown very high levels. It doesn’t appear that it’s tested as standard so the last comparison I have is back in 2020 when it was at the higher end of normal but within range.
I’ve read that obesity and diabetes are both risk factors but I’m keen to hear from anyone who has had readings that were high so I can understand what happens with better blood glucose control.
