I have been insulin dept for over 20 years so am not new to diabetes. The Issue i have at present is high mid morning levels (sometimes 16/17mmo/l at times) yet i wake up with 'perfect' levels! i have been injecting long enough to know that the insulin i have at breakfast is more than enough to balance with my food intake. I have heard of 'liver dumping' (glucose)but do not quite understand how to control this? i have thought that my body may take longer to 'wake'..? however i am only 36, active and work for a living so do not laze around? i would be interested if anyone has any ideas /reasonsLWA
(i have already posted this on ask the expert...im new to forum so trying everything, lol)

Have the medics considered Gastroparesis?
Delayed stomach emptying.

no but i would assume that that would happen consitantly throughout the day and not just after a particular mealtime. correct me if im wrong but i would of also thought that would be a constant rather than an intamitant problem like mine is. I have not heard of gastoprasis but maybe i shall look it up and find out more info...just in case! appreciate your comment thanks
