How strange? Firstly the pain I had was in my teeth. It came on badly for a few hours and then would subside and come on again. My dentist said there was nothing wrong with my teeth and when the tooth pain was on the upper teeth rather than the lower ones I started looking elsewhere for what it was. I decided I had a form of trigeminal neuralgia. I also think the causation was me biting my inner cheek with those teeth so have made a constant effort to stop it. I have not had a steroid injection but have had it offered and also an operation although I was told that neither are particularly successful. The only infection I can think of would be something in the root canal of a tooth I originally wanted out but my dentist refused point blank. I hope you are getting physio for your impingement. Mine was caused m=by throwing 8kg kettle bells from one arm to another in a circuit class on top of me bruising that shoulder when I fell out of a snowmobile in the Arctic tipping it over going up a bank trying to avoid a pine tree!! Oh well am going to bed now and haven't done my exercises today. I hope I sleep OK.
