High Platelets

Hi Everyone:happy:
I'm new to the board,and I'm searching for information on high blood platelet count. Last week when I was in for my diabetes review, my doctor told me that my platelet count is 409,000. I'm a bit concerned about this and want to find out .:(

I'm having full blood count test in 2 weeks,so hopefully its nothing to worry about.
