I've tried lidl protein rolls, which I didn't go much on.
Has anyone tried the tesco finest protein loaf or Warburtons protein bread?
How does it affect sugar levels?
I'm non diabetic but am insulin resistant.
Thanks

Burgen High protein Lo carb soy and linseed bread is 5g of carbs per slice of the smaller loaf and 11.8g per slice of carbs for the standard size loaf. This bread is very tasty and for me had the knock on effect of weaning me off bread all together as I found it very filling, too filling at times.

I tried the tesco one - big spike. I usually have much more acceptable results with either livlife bread (I get from ocado) or HI-LO bread ( I get at sainburys) but were all different. If you have a meter then youncan use it to see what they do to your blood sugar

I've had both and also Morrisons one - the Morrisons one is thinner but bigger slices and not seedy so more like bread - none of I have one slice and my numbers hardly budge - I'm not struck with the Lidl rolls either

Meant to say the Morrisons one is 8.something a slice (can't remember exact as I round it up to 9 :) )
