I have been tryin(and failing epically) to try and get my sugar levels under control. i regualrly run with hi teens and often into the 20's. i was just wondering if anyone else was the same?? looking on here some people seem to have high BG levels but not sure if anyone is running as high as myself

You're not alone, my cousin rarely has a reading not in the teens. Unlike you though she's not actually trying to make things better, so you're one step ahead!

I would make a note of your bg readings Blink and take them along to your clinic appointment on Friday, the diabetes team will advise on adjusting your insulin doses. As I said in a previous thread your gp may be right that your an ideal candidate for switching to a pump.

See this is the thing my readings have been like this for the last year and a half or so have been askin for the pump foe around a year but been told i need better control before I'm considered, finally got an appointment to speak to a pump dude to be considered but think i will be told the same thing. If i ask my gp i get told to speak to the diabetes clinic as i seem to know more than they do about it! My diabetic doctor says i need to be more strict and keep an eye on things..................Its like banging my head against a brick wall today my sugar was 17 before a workout then came down to 12 had some food and took some insulin checked it at lunch time and was back up at 20.1 then after a small correction dose walked home and ended up at 3.6 :'(. Take my meter in with me to my clinic appointment so my doc see's all of my results, not tryin to hide anything from them as sick of not being able to get a hold on it even after 14 years!!
