Hi. I'm worried because I'm pre diabetic that's what my doctors says anyway. But haven't got much faith in her, she's far to flippant about it.hi Lilliepop im type 2 and jan my highest blood sugar was 37. something and even now I get 17.2 anything under 8.5 2 hrs after eating is fine I think but im still learning
Hi. Oh that has made me feel better as you can see I'm a worrier.I don't think 9 is too high. I;m not prediabetic yet, just high risk atm, but even mine go to 11 if I eat the wrong thing.
wow.. why do you run them so low?I am gutted if mine is over 6.0 2 hours after eating which is very rare

I'm a worrier too, so I know what you mean.... but it's good to get to know your own levels and what works well for you.Hi. Oh that has made me feel better as you can see I'm a worrier.
wow.. why do you run them so low?
Yes. it was my mistake.. 6.0 postpranial is not low... but your levels are like mine and I'm only high risk atmi dont consider them low i consider them to be slightly higher than normal, and its controlled by diet only. Ideally 2 hours after meals i aim for mid to low 5s and before meals 4.5 to 5..2 the only issue i have is highs in the morning my wake up bg is around 5.8 to 6.4 but always comes down to low 5s after breakfast

Hi.what is the highest your blood sugar has ever been? Mine has been up to 9.5 only when I eat the wrong thing. But usually is between 6.5 and 7.9 after eating. As being pre diabetic I think that 9+ is too high. What do you think?
Really?? Pre- diabetes I would say that after 2 hours that is diabetes not pre, but saying that I'm no doctor but that is rather highHi,
My sister has prediabetes, normally she tests 6.2 and whenever eats anything wrong it goes up to 9.5, however it is better if you guys avoid eating anything wrong as there are chances you might develop type 2 diabetes and also be at risk to develop heart attack or stroke.
Are you taking the past pranial test 2 hours after starting to eat or ONE hour.... At 2 hours your reading is too high!Hi.what is the highest your blood sugar has ever been?
