Underheel area of feet tender so bought thick thorlos and great really comfy but bought two more pairs and its like walking on a scouring pad so returning them so anyone use a padded sock that you can recommend

Thin sock under thick, elastoplast, comfeel, neoprene are some of the other options

I have some great hiking socks from Bridgedale, purchased from Go Outdoors - really comfortable. Not sure if they can help your condition but as a padded sock I recommend.

Sorry I know this thread is deader than a dodo but just though I'd mention that these socks are fantastic value if you have a Decathlon nearby. £7.99 for two pairs and they're lovely and padded and made of wicking fibres that help reduce the likelihood of blisters. They're now my go-to hiking/running/ice skating sock and I've got some in every colour lol!
