Beetroot, Cucumber, Radish, Prawns - and arrogant people that have no understanding of how ill you can really be without looking ill
Today: Had a banana and an organic yoghurt for breakfast, a small brown muffin with ham at dinner, then i've had nothing till about 8.30 tonight - small pitta with donner meat, usual salad stuff and some garlic mayo - done my 1hr post prandial sticking the needle in my finger - expecting it to be thru the roof, but it's 8.2.......................I dont recall it being that low for ages :D
Now I reckon in one way i'm chuffed to bits, but i'm also worried that its dropped from 14.6 at dinner to this all time low - is this a turning point for me I wonder ?

Gonna test again in 10 mins - thats the 2 hr point, if its much lower i'll begin to wonder if im going the opposite way

Guess it is a weird day Jimbo when you end up talking to yourself

Who said that ?
Morning Graham - gets even more strange this morning, 12 hr fast as normal, done the usual at 8.30 and its 8.9 again - woke up feeling a bit light headed with a headache, nothing unusual there tbh, but other than that i'm feeling pretty good health wise and helluva chuffed i'm recording some low readings'

I'm at a party tonight in Milton Keynes, so i'll try and be really good with what I eat  and see how this affects me today

Y'all be good

Must be the day for it. I had loads of porridge, pasta and ham and then chips and curry for tea, rich tea biscuits before I went to bed yesterday and got up this morning expecting my levels to be high and they were lower today than they were yesterday morning! I think that's what makes things so difficult you think you are having a good day and the levels don't show it - is there delayed reaction :!: Will my levels be high tomorrow?

You're still eating some pretty heavy duty carbs (I couldn't even glance at a banana at breakfast time) but your evening meal was comparatively low in carbs and probably the fat and salad slowed them down.

Another factor, if you've been running high numbers for a while you go into "glucose toxicity" which is why some authorities throw a lot of meds and even insulin at the initially diagnosed, then back them off later.

Once your numbers come out of high range your insulin resistance should improve for this reason alone, it looks like you're now breaking through this barrier so as long as you're careful you should start getting lower numbers significantly more often.
