Usually there is anything and everything available to eat...so you really are spoiled with choices. Biggest problem is to have some self control. Why don't you make full use of the foods that you might feel lazy to prepare for yourself. Enjoy salads, veggies..pair it with some nice protein and you won't raise your blood sugars..try keep carb content to low/minimum. Enjoy nibble of cheeses rather than something sweet for deserts. If you manage to eat just enough to kill you hunger but not over eat..you will come back from your holidays with healthy glow rather than feel uncomfortable and having to start dieting.
Buffet type dining is wonderful...BUT..for me that has always been the most difficult part..you just end up putting on you plate far too much..so much to choose...maybe ordering from menu would be helpful if you are like me.
Oh...don't forget to do lots and lots of dancing!!! Fun and healthy...;)
