Honey

It's fructose like fruit so a quarter of a teaspoon per day only and nothing else! Test with a meter if you have one to see how you react. Who knows! Good luck!
 
It depends how many carbs a day you're aiming for. Honey has approx 6g carbs per teaspoon.

That's a pain as i always had lemon and honey in a glass of hot water when I had a sore throat.
 
6carbs a teaspoon doesn't sound very much.
I was told honey was pure sugar and I might as well eat a spoonful of sugar because the carbs were the same - I have no way of knowing how many carbs there are in sugar either.

I think sugar is slightly lower at just over 4g carbs per teaspoon.

Honey is usually around half fructose, half sucrose.
