Hi,
I have been diagnosed T1 for just over 4 months and pretty much in control of it now which is good! Started sports again and learning everyday.
At my last consultation, my DN said I should enjoy the lower insulin dosages whilst I'm still honeymooning and that it would significantly change when I come out of it in circa 6 months.
I was thinking about getting a continuous glucose monitoring system so I can better understand my levels. Firstly, is the obvious freestyle libre the best way to go and secondly, it's there any point until I'm out of HM? Only plan to trial it for say 1 month to learn but will I have to do this again in say a years time?
Thoughts/experiences appreciated!?
Thanks
Richard
