Honeymoon period/pregnancy

Hi everyone, I am 14 months in and luckily still on my honeymoon period. I got told the average honeymoon period is around 18 months so just making the most out of it at the moment. We are going to try for a baby at the end of the year but my husband is concerned if I'm pregnant and then finish my honeymoon period during pregnancy. I'm assuming my levels sky rocket then I may struggle? Has anyone else had a baby before the end of the honeymoon period? Or any tips about both end of the honey moon period and pregnancy. (It will be my first child)

Would suggest telling your diabetes team you are planning, start taking folic acid and ask for frequent A1c checks.
