Hey. I'm new on the forum and sorry for my english :)
I was diagnosded in July 15 for Typ 1. 2 months later i have stopped injecting Insulin because i was always low. Since 3 months i am enjoying my Honeymoon. I'm doing sports and eat healty and a try not to eat to much carbs. But now my BS is running high a lot and I am thinking about going back to Insulin.
Do you guys have any advices for me?
Thanks!

Just work with your diabetes team if your unsure about adjusting your own insulin, for the first few days & weeks do monitor your bg levels closely just in case you up your insulin by too much, but do keep up with your healthy lifestyle and don't let type 1 stop you from leading a full and active life.

Good luck @Swissgirl

You don't give too much detail but presumably you have been tested prior to diagnosis and confirmation of your T1 status? And you are aware of how dangerous it is to let your BS levels get out of control?

You are lucky to have survived without insulin but if your honeymoon period is coming to an end then I'm afraid it's probably time to dust off those insulin pens and needles.

The last week my BS was were 7mm/l in the morning and the evening. But between it was going up to 15. I havent take care as usual during the holidays. I know how dangerous it is especially for my health in the future. Maybe your right and I have to seriously think about go back to Insulin Pens.

Being in double figures for too long is not good @Swissgirl , start off on a low dose of insulin and monitor your sugar levels carefully as noblehead suggests.
