Hopefully it's back to normal

Having started my diet once again to help get my blood sugars back to how they were before, I tested today and results were.....

Before breakfast 7.1 After 10.8 not so good breakfast was cup of tea with 2 slices weight watchers malted bread toasted.

Skipped lunch

Before dinner 5.7 After 7.2 Dinner was Fresh chicken breast salad.

Onwards and upwards though
 
Bread does that to me too.

My breakfasts are usually protein based, no carbs
Or bulletproof coffee
Or green smoothies

I never have fast release carbs for brekkie. Although I think I will miss them for ever.
 
Can de caff coffee affect your sugars at all? as I am trying to rule out everything that may have made my sugars go up?
 
Coffee regular or decaff is usually ok but it's the milk that raises the BS. Go black, or with full cream milk, or better still cream. Keep plugging away, you're getting there.
