Hi everyone,

Would really appreciate some knowledgeable input here. Diagnosed with MODY 5.5 years ago during my first pregnancy. Highest HBA1C since then was during diagnosis at 54 and since then has varied between 34 (very well controlled throughout second pregnancy) and 51 but averaging in the 40s.
Around 18 months ago I developed what I now recognise as autonomic dysfunction symptoms (undiagnosed but pretty much have every symptom at this point but they do come and go) and around 5 months ago started to develop burning feet that come and go (did go away for around 3 months) as well as faint tingles in my hands and face and last night a crawling feeling on a patch on the side of my scalp.
My question is, how common is SFN in the diabetic community and how likely is it that diabetes would be my primary cause of this if I do have it? I'm pretty certain I do as not much else explains the autonomic symptoms but I'm devastated to only be 33, diagnosed diabetic for such a short time and already be dealing with these debiliatating symptoms which I understand very few people in the UK can actually diagnose and treat.

Thanks for reading.
