I had much the same experience & signals as others. I was feeling a little odd, so went to make some food. I noticed my hands were shaking when I was trying to chop an onion. I started feeling a bit wobbly and out of it, and luckily went for my meter to test.. And was under 4, so made a cup of coffee with about 4 teaspoons of sugar. After that, and finishing my meal, I felt fine. Since then, I've also noticed kitedoc's experience of being washed out but alert.. Which is an odd sensation, and curious if that's the body's way of warning us to find sugar, stat! For me though, it was certainly a learning experience and I think valuable so I can recognise the warning signs.
