Although LADA can come on gradually in middle age it will end up the same as T1. Being LADA does not imply insulin resistance any more than it does with T1. LADA can have other causes such as viruses than T1 auto-immunity but it's T2 that's likely to have an insulin resistance cause. I have my body fat checked in the gym.</p></blockquote><p></p>
