Hi everyone.. Can anyone tell me what are the symptoms of diabetes.. I'm supposed to a blood test soon and I'm really scared.. Any advice?

Get the blood test done and then you'll know. Common symptoms are (or can be) really dry mouth, thirst, lots of toilet visits, nausea, tiredness and generally feeling poorly. That is for a T2 as I don't know what it's like for a T1

More or less the same for type 1. Unexplained weight loss is another big clue and fruity smelling breath.

Good one .... more for me to learn

Thanks guys.....

Keep in mind sometimes there are no obvious symptoms other than high blood glucose.

For T2:
Itchy skin
Numb feet/hands or tingling, pins-and-needles feeling, sometimes sharp pain in toes
Repeated thrush

Aww, don't freak out. We've all been there. The good news is that it is totally manageable if in fact, you are diagnosed. This forum is an ENORMOUS wealth of fantastic information and a huge caring community. Don't worry. Sometimes it is a great relief when you are diagnosed as all those "odd" and "weird" and annoying health problems finally have a name, and then you will know how to proceed and take care of yourself to limit any future problems.

Bri, I just read on your profile that you are 12 years old. Is that correct or a typo?

I didnt have any symptons I dont know how long I had diabetes before We moved area and had a new Dr and had new patient check.
My husband had high blood pressure and I had type 2 diabetes.
Only three months before I had a pre opp assessment for a knee replacement and it wasnt picked up then.

Me too (apart from thrush) but as a wrinkly I rate them with going deaf and forgetting why I just went to the kitchen cupboard. I've mentioned them all to my GP & DN a couple of times but they weren't interested so neither am I. If anything gets to be a nuisance I might make more noise at the surgery.
