Hi all, I've been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 3 months ago. I've done a lot of research on the subject. Glucose levels when diagnosed were 15.5 after a strict diet , my levels are now between 6 & 8. Two things I suggest we're a great help. Indian gooseberry capsules and mulberry tee from Thailand. Worth a try! Still haven't sorted out the tiredness though!

Congratulations on your improved glucose levels, but what was your "strict diet"? To be honest, I'm not sure that gooseberry capsules or mulberry tea from Thailand or any where else would make any significant difference, but do tell us more.

I went on a salad diet, no sugar products for about one month. Porridge in the morning with cinnamon and blue berries, salad at lunch and evening . In between times loads of nuts for snacking and plenty of water.

You may be tired because you haven't enough fat in your diet
When you cut down carbs, you replace the lost energy with fat oil etc
Have a read of lchf,

You played hard and done good (as the footballers say)

All grains are high carbs and it is carbs that send us high, The tea etc is probably a bit of a con.
