How long does it take?

Does anyone know how long the DVLA take to do their investigations into the group two entitlement?

They had the report from the diabetic specialist on the 1st of January and they are still saying there is no update or timescale. Are you able to claim loss of earnings after a period of time? Has anyone done anything to hurry them up? I am desperate to get back to work.

Any help & advice greatly appreciated.

Have they revoked your license or has it just expired?

The longest the process has taken for me from start to finish is 6 months

If your license has only expired you can continue to drive until they complete (upto 12 months)

If it was revoked then you have to wait
