How long does Novorapid last for once dose is administered?

Hi Guys

Just wanted to ask, how long does Novorapid last for once it is administered as a bolus via the pump?

I'm using a Spirit Combo and use the handset where it gives details about "Active Insulin" that's still present in the body, but just wanted to know? 3-4 hours before it's out of the system? Is that about right?

From what I can gather it's 4 - 5 hours :)

My son's is set to 3 hrs and it works well for him. He doesn't have many hypos and a good hba1c.
