Assuming UK population at 65 million and 50-50 split between male/female: According to Wiki (lol) in the UK 66.6% of males overweight/obese and 52.7% females overweight/obese. This gives a total of 38.58 million overweight/obese. Total diabetics (according to this site) 3.5 million. So a total 35.8 million of overweight/obese people are not diagnosed with diabetes. So approx. 90% of overweight/obese people do not have diabetes! I know this ignores undiagnosed diabetics, Type 1 diabetics and normal/underweight diabetics. But this is statistics so you can do anything with the numbers!:)
